Built-in the mid 18th century this old water-powered corn mill lies abandoned in the middle of a picturesque village on the Cambridgeshire/ Huntingdonshire border. There is little information about the mill available online but we did witness some carved graffiti from 1777 on the outside wall and an AD 1840 gable plaque giving us a little information about its history. Inside has been taken over by pigeons, but the pockets of light that creep through the gaps in the boarded-up windows and doors helped to create some dramatic photographs.

These photos are absolutely incredible Paul, I have seen a lot of photographs from this location from urban explorers over the past years but it really makes a difference when an actual photographer visits it to document the decay. I’m so impressed with these, by far the best images of this location I have seen, well done. I saw your urban exploration photography experience and will be joining you on some of these sessions in the near future. I look forward to visiting some equally fantastic locations and learning how to improve my photography with you too.
Thanks very much for these kind words Marcus, I look forward to shooting with you in the future!
