I had a very enjoyable time joining Paul in Cornwall for a few days photography practice and training over the course of a weekend. Paul is very sociable and passionate about photography and it was also great to meet other photographers who were on the trip too. We visited lighthouses, beaches, harbours, woodlands, old mine son the cliffs and many other great locations during the holiday with Paul offering help and advice throughout about how to set the camera, ideas for compositions and just generally being there if we needed him. I’ve already seen Paul runs holidays in other locations and will certainly be joining him on some of those too in the future.

I joined Paul on one of his photography holidays and I cannot tell you how amazing it was. What I learned in that one weekend is more than I have learned over the years of me trying to do it on my own. I went from using all my cameras in auto mode to very quickly Paul giving me the confidence to use manual, so I could learn about all the different functions like shutter speed, ISO, aperture and learning all those different buttons on the camera to create some really awesome shots.
What was really great as well is that we went to some incredibly beautiful places and what I loved about that is I could actually do my long exposure shots and I got some beautiful pictures of the blurring of the waterfalls. It was just so much fun and so creative.
The great thing about Paul as well is he’s a massive people person, so he can talk about photography for absolutely days, which is great. It really shows his passion. Overall, it was just an incredible experience. I learned so much and honestly, I would highly recommend and I’m definitely going to be coming on another photography holiday again soon.

I never in my wildest dreams expected to learn so much about photography over the space of a weekend. I feel like things that I have struggled with for years were easily explained to me in a manner I could understand and my photography has improved a lot after a weekend with Paul. We visited some great locations, from beautiful beaches and cliff-tops to old mine ruins and castles this holiday really did have it all. Paul is really passionate about photography and it was a pleasure to spend a weekend with him.
John Reece –
I joined Paul on a photography holiday in Cornwall with a view to learning how to capture beautiful landscapes of the ocean. Paul is a fantastic teacher who is not afraid to share his knowledge and challenge your thinking. His knowledge of the area and photographic locations was excellent, he picked me up every day from my hotel and gave me multiple options as to where we could visit that day. He is clearly really passionate about photography and I could not help but get excited when I saw some of the resulting photographs I was capturing along the trip. It was worth every single penny and realistically probably a lot more.
