Fancy joining us on Cornwall’s most amazing beaches and harbours to create some unique concepts with our one of a kind Deep Sea Diver suit?
The concept for this photography workshop has been years in the making. When we moved to Cornwall a few years back we visited Charlestown museum and saw the most amazing deep sea diving suit on display, which inspired me to see if we could create our own. It’s taken a little while to piece it all together and it hasn’t come cheap, but our authentic deep sea diving suit has been bought together from numerous sources around the world and is now complete. We’d love you to join us on this photography workshop to capture some amazing photographs around Cornwall.
This is an authentic deep sea diving suit, it’s super heavy, the boots weigh 25KG+ alone and we’ve paired it with an amazing helmet, diving weights, divers torch, knife and oxygen tubes to make it all as authentic as possible. Paul will happily bound (well maybe a slow walk) around Cornwall in the suit for you and help you capture some stunning images you simply won’t be able to take anywhere else. Want to wear the suit yourself for some epic self portraits? You are most welcome to!

FAQ’s
Do I Need Certain Skills Or Equipment To Attend?
No specific skills are required to attend this course and the only equipment you will need to bring with you is your camera and lenses.
How Many People Can Attend The Course?
Up to 2 people can attend this course at no additional cost. Group bookings of more than 2 people can be arranged, please get in touch.
Can You Recommend Camera Equipment For Me Prior To Me Attending?
I get a lot of requests for help with camera equipment recommendations, almost daily in fact and offer a Personalised Photography Equipment Recommendation service which you can find by clicking here.
Recommending a camera and the best lenses to buy really has lots of different factors involved in it which need to be investigated first such as what the equipment will be most used for, budgets, your expectations on image quality, your current level and aspirations, etc. Hence the above service so we can really drill down into finding you the best equipment.
Alternatively, some people attend my courses and borrow a camera from me for the day to do so, we can then incorporate this recommendation as part of the course at no extra cost. The benefit of doing it this way is that I have a lot of cameras and lenses you can try and see the difference between prior to purchasing anything. The downside is your not learning on your own equipment of course, so there are pluses and minuses to doing it both ways, it depends on what you think works best for you.
Are You DBS Checked?
Paul is DBS checked and is happy to share a copy of his DBS certificate with any client, no matter whether they are a business, charity, organisation or individual.
What Is The Refund Policy?
Our Refund & Cancellation Policy Can Be Found Here.
Jason Bean –
I joined Paul on his first trip using the deep sea diver suit and it was perhaps the most fun photography experience I have ever had. The suit is incredible, let’s start there. This isn’t something they have made themselves, it is a genuine suit that has been used, the boots are so heavy and it simply looks fantastic. They had kitted out the suit with an old torch, divers knife and many other bits which really made it look authentic. I learnt so much on the trip, from using off camera flash, to camera settings to how to work with a model. I am really impressed with the entire setup and will certainly be joining Paul on one of his future adventures.
