FAQ’s
What Equipment & Skills Do I Need?
If you are bringing your own drone equipment for this course then you will need to be equipped properly to get the best results. You are very welcome to use our equipment should you not own your own.
We recommend you bring your drone and lots of batteries to ensure you get plenty of time to fly throughout the day. We can put batteries on charge as soon as they have been used allowing a rotation of batteries to keep you going. If you use your phone to fly the drone ensure it’s fully charged and you have your charger with you.
Please bring a means to transfer the images from the drone to a computer so we can edit them.
Are You DBS Checked?
Paul is DBS checked and is happy to share a copy of his DBS certificate with any client, no matter whether they are a business, charity, organisation or individual.

Dona Lambert –
Myself and a friend spent a day with Paul learning how to fly our Mini Maverick drone. We were both complete beginners and were nervous about our ‘first flight’. Paul soon put us at ease, helped us load the apps we need and took us out into Newquay to get started. After spending a few hours getting to know what the drone could do and learning the law and safety about flying we were soon both confident about going away and flying the drone on our own.

I spent a weekend with Paul learning how to use my Mavic Air 2 drone around the beaches and clifftops of Cornwall and we managed to capture some fantastic images. I learnt a lot about composition, the right settings to use and we even did some drone videos which was a lot of fun. Paul is a great teacher and a nice person to spend a weekend with. Thanks so much Paul, I’ll be back to join you again and continue my photography development.
